BG Video Flow is architected with a strict 100% offline-first, local-processing privacy framework. We do not operate remote servers that capture, upload, store, inspect, process, or sell your recorded videos or personal media.
1 100% Local Device Storage & Zero Cloud Uploads
- Zero Remote Server Transmission: BG Video Flow functions entirely on your local device. No video, audio, or metadata generated by you is transmitted over the internet to Eklanth Solutions LLP or any unauthorized third party.
- Exclusive Local Storage: All video recordings, audio tracks, loop segments, and photos captured using this application are saved exclusively in your physical device's internal storage or user-designated secure directory.
- No Cloud Vaults or Telemetry of Media: We maintain no database, cloud storage, or media servers capable of accessing or viewing your recorded content.
2 Required Device Permissions & Technical Purpose
To provide background recording, dashcam loop functionality, and security vault features, BG Video Flow requests the following explicit Android operating system permissions:
1. Camera Access (`android.permission.CAMERA`) Core Feature
Required solely to capture video feeds initiated by the user. The camera hardware is activated strictly upon user command (via the in-app record button, widget, or quick tile) and is never accessed in the background without explicit user intent.
2. Audio Recording (`android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO`) Optional Toggle
Required to record synchronized audio alongside your video files. Users can choose to disable audio recording at any time within the application settings for silent video capture.
3. Foreground Services (`FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA` & `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE`) Android 14+ Compliant
Complies with strict Android 14+ background execution policies. Allows the camera pipeline to continue recording when your phone screen is turned off or while multitasking in navigation/work apps, accompanied by a visible, non-dismissible status bar notification.
4. Biometric & Device Lock (`USE_BIOMETRIC` & `USE_FINGERPRINT`) Security Vault
Utilized strictly on-device via the official Android KeyStore API to authenticate the user before unlocking private recordings stored in the Secure Vault. Neither your biometric fingerprint data nor your PIN code ever leaves your device hardware.
5. System Notifications (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`) System Compliance
Required by Android 13+ to display the persistent recording indicator and quick-action "Stop & Save" controls in your notification tray.
3 Third-Party Services & Advertising Partners
To support continuous feature updates, testing, and free distribution across app stores, BG Video Flow may integrate verified third-party developer software development kits (SDKs):
Google AdMob (Google LLC)
AdMob may process anonymized, non-personally identifiable identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID), generalized location (country/city), and interaction metrics to display relevant advertisements. 4 Multi-Platform Distribution (Google Play, Indus Appstore & Direct APK)
This Privacy Policy applies equally regardless of how or where you obtained BG Video Flow:
- Google Play Store: Fully compliant with Google Play Developer Program Policies, Data Safety disclosures, and background camera standards.
- Indus Appstore & Regional Stores: Adheres to Indian DPDP (Digital Personal Data Protection Act) requirements.

5 Legal Compliance & User Responsibility Disclaimer
Lawful & Ethical Purpose: BG Video Flow is engineered as a personal dashcam recorder, productivity utility, and personal safety tool.
Compliance with Consent Laws: Laws governing audio and video recording (such as one-party vs. two-party/all-party consent, private residence recording restrictions, and workplace recording laws) vary significantly across different states, countries, and jurisdictions.
Disclaimer of Liability: Eklanth Solutions LLP expressly disclaims all liability and responsibility for any unauthorized, unlawful, or infringing usage of this application by any end user. Users bear full and exclusive responsibility for verifying and complying with all applicable local, regional, and international recording laws before initiating capture.
6 Children’s Privacy Protection
BG Video Flow is not designed for or directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 18 where applicable by local statute). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children. If we become aware that personal information of a minor has been collected, we will take immediate steps to delete such data.
7 User Data Control & Deletion
Because your recordings are stored entirely locally on your physical device, you retain 100% control over your files:
- You can permanently delete any video or audio file directly inside the App's Gallery or Vault at any time.
- Uninstalling the Application or clearing the app storage cache permanently erases all locally protected vault files from your device.
8 Updates to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new operating system requirements, app store guidelines, or feature releases. Any updates will be published directly on this URL with an updated revision date.
